What if the question, Where is God?—often posed as a challenge, even with a raised fist—were to be best answered, Closer than you can think or imagine?  In a world many have declared to be empty—the classic phrase is “without form, and void”—the Spirit of God introduces himself hovering close to the creation, and breathing life and truth and wisdom and even love itself into all of it, and into us.  Yet our view of the Spirit remains mysterious and seemingly distant from the world, though Jesus explicitly named the Spirit as “the One who is right beside us and in us” (paraklētos, John 14-17)

We will enter the world of the Holy Spirit in this new Scripture study, and humbly and expectantly explore how the Spirit is very much part of the world we know, and actually hovering close to it once again in a magnificent new creation.
